Emily K. Fong

Emily K. Fong is an associate with the law firm of Chong, Nishimoto, Sia, Nakamura & Goya, LLLP. She joined the law firm in June of 2026.

Education

Ms. Fong attended the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa, where she received a Bachelors of Arts in Philosophy with a minor in American Studies. In 2025, Ms. Fong graduated from the William S. Richardson School of Law at the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa.

Experience

During law school, Ms. Fong served as a legal intern at the Hawai‘i Civil Rights Commission (Summer 2023 & 2024) and as a legal extern for Judge Shirley M. Kawamura (Summer 2024). Upon graduation, Ms. Fong served as an Executive Fellow at the American Civil Liberties Union of Hawai‘i (2025-2026).

Ms. Fong is a member of the Hawai‘i State Bar Association. She is admitted to practice in the State of Hawai‘i and the U.S. District Court for the District of Hawai‘i.
