Ryan I. Inouye

Mr. Inouye joined the firm in 2007 and concentrates his practice in the area of insurance defense litigation specializing in medical malpractice, premises liability, and personal injury. He became a partner in 2014 and is currently a General Partner of the firm.
Education
In 2003, Mr. Inouye received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Boston College in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts. He pursued his legal education at Gonzaga University School of Law in Spokane, Washington. He was an associate editor for the Gonzaga University Law Review and graduated magna cum laude in 2006. Mr. Inouye was admitted to the Hawaii State Bar in November 2006.
Experience
Mr. Inouye clerked for the Honorable Derrick H.M. Chan and was previously a judicial extern for United States Magistrate Judge Leslie E. Kobayashi.
Since 2025, he provides quarterly lectures/presentations to incoming TheBus and The HandiVan classes on behalf of Oahu Transit Services regarding their legal duties and responsibilities.
